I am a big car guy, and have a penchant for driving and working on older German cars. I have owned 3 cars in my life, all being Bimmers from the mid 90s. First came a 328i with ~80,000 on the odometer, then my ///M with ~140,000; upon moving into The District I purchased a 318ti (170,000mi; a great city car).
Autocross with my old 328i.

Project to replace the cabin air filter - really hard to get to in these cars!

After removing the glove box you have to reach back and to the left to pull the old filter out of the ductwork, behind the center-stack.

Can you tell which one is the new filter? Change your air filters people!

BMW propaganda.
